About the Courses - I have two set courses at the moment, but can tailor training to suit your needs.

The first is a fundamentals course which is for delegates who have no knowledge of BC, and the second is a BIA refresher and plan writing course.

They are centred on ISO22301/313, Chapter 6 of the Cabinet Office Emergency Preparedness Manual and the BCI Good Practice Guide 2013.

Delegates who complete my BC fundamentals course will be equipped to begin the development of your BC plan. Those that complete the BIA and plan writing course will be equipped to continue and develop the work done on the fundamentals course.

I have presented this course to delegates from East and West Sussex County Councils, Fire and Rescue, Surrey, Sussex and Metropolitan Police forces with excellent results.

How to Get Best Value from the training - To get the most out of your training I would suggest that after delegates have completed the fundamentals course they be given three months to put those skills to immediate use and begin collecting the data required for a plan.

After that period, return for the BIA refresher and plan writing course where they can learn to formulate a plan from that data, using a template which I will provide.
